There are many risks which we need to be aware of before filming our OTS and we must take this out when filming to show we are aware of the risks and hazards and that we are prepared if anything goes wrong.
When filming we will come accross many risks and hazards which must be prevented:
Rope-
We will be filming one of the end scenes of our OTS using rope to tie up our victim before killing her with an axe. This can be very hazardous as we need to make sure the rope isn't too tight around the body to stop blood flow. Therefore, we will make sure to keep the rope tight at all times and not tie a knot so it can be removes as soon as the scene as been shot.
Glass perfume bottle-
As part of our OTS we will be using a glass perfume bottle as a prop in a few scenes. This is a risk because the glass could smash and cut a member of the crew or actors. To reduce the chances of this happening the glass perfume bottle will be kept in a safe place when not being used. Also the perfume bottle is going to be empty so that if it smashes, no liquid can spill out and cause more damage.
The weapon-
We will be using an axe to kill our victim due to it being the most common weapon in our questionaire which was completed by our target audience.
The fact we are using an axe means we will need to be aware of all the hazards this could cause. When not using the axe on set we will make sure to keep it in a safe place so that nobody else can touch it or use it. When using the axe for the killing scene we will use the power of suggestion by panning the camera when Tyler looks as though he is going to swing the axe into Shannon. By doing this the axe doesn't need to touch the victim as we will turn the camera.

After changing our ideas, like our storyboard, we did the risk assessment again because we were planning on filming in a multi-story car park which means there are many new risks we need to be careful of.
